Alexander McCall Smith to discuss new No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency Novel

Alexander McCall Smith will discuss the latest book in his No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series, “The Limpopo Academy of Private Detection" at 12:15 p.m. Saturday, April 14, in the National Press Club Ballroom.

The Press Club event is McCall Smith's only appearance in Washington, D.C. for this book.

McCall Smith will sign copies of “The Limpopo Academy of Private Detection” and his latest young reader title “The Great Cake Mystery: Precious Ramotswe's Very First Case" following the discussion and a question-and-answer period. The author will only sign copies purchased through the National Press Club, with a limit of two copies per person.

Come early for brunch at the Club's Fourth Estate restaurant starting at 10:30 a.m. VIP tickets include brunch, reserved seating at the event and a copy of “The Limpopo Academy.”

VIP tickets are $55 for members, $70 for others. General admission, including one copy of the book, is $35 for members, $45 for others. Balcony tickets, with no copy of the book, are $15 for members, $25 for others. Member tickets are limited to one per member.
