A can't miss event is coming to the National Press Club just in time for the upcoming White House Correspondents' dinner.


 

Former White House Social Secretary Deesha Dyer will discuss her new memoir titled, “Undiplomatic: How My Attitude Created the Best Kind of Trouble,” at a National Press Club Headliners book event Thursday, April 25 at 1 p.m.

Dyer talks about how she overcame debilitating imposter syndrome and “an attitude problem that would lead to nowhere" to land one of the most coveted jobs in Washington.

Tickets cost $5 for members of the National Press Club and $10 for the general public. Pre-ordered books will be available for pickup and signing at the event.  Attendees will also be able to purchase books at the door.
