Former White House Social Secretary Deesha Dyer will discuss her new memoir titled, “Undiplomatic: How My Attitude Created the Best Kind of Trouble,” at a National Press Club Headliners book event Thursday, April 25 at 1 p.m.
Dyer talks about how she overcame debilitating imposter syndrome and “an attitude problem that would lead to nowhere" to land one of the most coveted jobs in Washington.
Tickets cost $5 for members of the National Press Club and $10 for the general public. Pre-ordered books will be available for pickup and signing at the event. Attendees will also be able to purchase books at the door.
The program will include a question-and-answer session. To submit a question in advance, put “DYER” in the subject line and email it to [email protected]
