Understand Hispanic voters on eve of midterm elections Oct. 31

A Newsmaker event will discuss the Hispanic electorate Friday, Oct. 31 at 10 a.m., four days before the 2014 midterm elections.

The “Latino vote” is often depicted in the media as the fastest growing and most significant voting bloc in the U.S., one that will determine the fate of immigration reform and the futures of both the Democratic and Republican parties.

Presenting the facts of the Hispanic electorate will be Director of Research of the PEW Hispanic Center Mark Lopez, Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute President and CEO Esther Aguilera and Director of Hispanic Media for the Republican National Committee Ruth Guerra.

Peggy Sands Orchowski, Congressional Correspondent and Washington Bureau Chief of Hispanic Outlook magazine, will interview the panel.

Like all Newsmaker events, this news conference is open to credentialed press and NPC club members, free of charge. No advance registration is required.
