Panel to celebrate Black History Month by discussing pioneers of the black press Feb. 25

In honor of Black History Month, the Book and Author Committee will host a discussion of pioneers of the black press Wednesday, Feb. 25, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Panelists include Carol Booker, editor of "Alone Atop the Hill: The Autobiography of Alice Dunnigan, Pioneer of the National Black Press" and James McGrath Morris, author of "Eye on the Struggle: Ethel Payne, the First Lady of the Black Press."

The event includes a panel discussion, questions from the audience, and book signing.
