National Press Club journalism contest seeks best of broadcasters

The National Press Club journalism contest seeks the best work from broadcasters in a variety of areas.

Broadcasters are encouraged to enter their best work in areas like breaking news, reporting on consumer issues, press criticism, international reporting and reporting about animals and their welfare.

The best work of broadcasters in presenting their work online can be entered in the competition for the best online journalism. Entrants must show how they used online content to enhance their broadcast reports.

The deadline for entering the NPC Journalism Contest is April 1, so pick your entries and mail them soon! For information about the contest, click here.

Besides the online journalism category, the contest includes awards for breaking news, political reporting, international coverage, consumer reporting, coverage of the news industry and newsletter journalism. It also includes a group of awards for areas as diverse as the aviation industry, problems facing the elderly and humor writing.
