October 19, 2009

Join old Hollywood stars for the "HallowScreen" Halloween Benefit Gala from 7:30 to 11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30.

Local indie-rock band Deleted Scenes and DJ Matt Spangler will provide spook-tacular musical entertainment, and Alisa Parenti, an award-winning anchor for MarketWatch Radio Network, will emcee the event.

Enter the costume contest for the best old Hollywood get-up for a chance to take home the evening’s grand prize.

Price of admission includes one drink ticket, an array of ghoulish appetizers, an NPC swag bag and automatic entry to win exclusive door prizes. There will also be a cash bar, the popcorn machin and classic Hollywood horror flicks.

All proceeds will benefit the NPC's scholarship fund, which plays a vital role in launching the careers of talented young journalists who bring diversity to American news outlets.

Advance tickets are $15 for NPC members, $20 for non-members. Night-of tickets are $25.
