Friday the 13th is a lucky day for prime rib lovers

Guarantee your good luck with a perfectly prepared prime rib at the Fourth Estate restaurant's Prime Rib Night on Friday, April 13.

Diners will enjoy garlic-roasted prime rib on the bone served with Yorkshire pudding horseradish cream sauce and a spinach soufflé. Members pay $27; non-members $32.

Diners are seated from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 pm. Reservations are required 24 hours in advance to assure prime rib, but some may be available for walk-in diners. Call 202-662-7638 or email [email protected] to reserve.

The Fourth Estate restaurant is on the 13th floor of the National Press Building and is open to the public and to NPC members. Dinner is served Tuesday through Saturday, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. On specialty menu nights, other entrée items will be available from the regular menu including char-grilled hanger steak, vegetarian stuffed leek and chicken with cashews. The restaurant is also open for lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and for brunch on Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Plan ahead: Lobster Night is April 25. For Lobster Night, members and their guests pay $25 and the general public, $30. Lobsters are served with butter and a choice of oven-roasted potatoes or fries and coleslaw or green salad.
