FEMA Administrator Fugate to discuss planning for catastrophic disasters, hurricane season, 1 pm May 4

Federal Emergency Management Agency Administrator Craig Fugate will speak at a Newsmaker at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 4.

As the United States faces significant flooding, tornado and wildfire events and the upcoming hurricane season, Fugate will explain how FEMA and the federal government have been planning for catastrophic disasters.

Fugate will also discuss the agency’s efforts to use social media to better engage and support the public and its work with the private sector.
