FCC chair to discuss next generation of wireless technologies at June 20 luncheon

Federal Communications Commission Chair Tom Wheeler will offer his thoughts about the next generation 5G wireless communications services and technologies at a Club luncheon on Monday, June 20.

The new technologies promise to offer dramatically faster wireless broadband services, and Wheeler will offer his thoughts on what the American vision for 5G should be.

Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m., with remarks beginning at 1 p.m., followed by a Q&A session ending at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $24 for Club members and one guest, and $38 for nonmembers.
