Actress Kathleen Turner to speak on women's health Issues at Sept. 6 luncheon

Kathleen Turner, iconic film and stage star and chair of Planned Parenthood's Board of Advocates, will discuss reproductive rights and the state of women's health at a National Press Club luncheon on Thursday, Sept. 6.

Turner will be in Washington, D.C., from late August through October, performing as a rabble-rousing journalist in “Red Hot Patriot: The Kick-Ass Wit of Molly Ivins” at Arena Stage.

Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m., with Turner's remarks beginning at 1 p.m. A question-and-answer session will follow until at 2 p.m.
