As the coronavirus pandemic enters a new phase and with mask mandates in question, Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases will speak to the National Press Club on April 29 about what direction the virus may take us this summer and beyond.

Fauci has been the leading public health voice during COVID-19 pandemic and is the chief medical advisor to President Biden. As the leader of NIAID, Fauci has a long and distinguished career having led the federal response to most of the major disease outbreaks over the last 40 years including HIV/AIDS, Ebola and SARS.
