NPC Luncheon with FCC Chair Tom Wheeler

The U.S. is the leader in wireless technology and spectrum innovation, currently occupying the worldwide top spot in 4G wireless network utilization. Now, the development of framework is beginning for the next-generation. These 5G wireless communications services and technologies will offer dramatically faster wireless broadband services.

Public and private sector stakeholders around the world have begun to shape the new 5G landscape to benefit their national and commercial interests. This major policy address by Federal Communications Commission Chair Tom Wheeler will lay out the framework for what he thinks the American vision for 5G should be, so the U.S. can continue to lead the world in wireless and deliver the benefits of next-generation wireless networks to America’s consumers and businesses.

Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m., with remarks beginning at 1 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session ending at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $24 for Press Club members (NPC Members may purchase 2 tickets at this rate) and $38 for all other non-member tickets.
