NPC Luncheon with Actor Michael York

Award-winning actor Michael York will discuss the challenges he faces with the rare disease of Amyloidosis and how he became a spokesperson for this little known ailment at August 12 luncheon at the National Press Club. Michael York’s stepson is Star Wars producer Rick McCallum.

York appeared next to Liza Minnelli in cinema version of “Cabaret” musical and starred in the all-star “Murder on the Orient Express” and as d’Artagnan in The Three(and The Four) Musketeers. His most recent film is The Mill and the Cross.

Lunch will be served at 12:30 pm with remarks beginning at 1:00 pm, followed by Q & A session ending at 2 pm. Tickets cost $24 for Press Club members (NPC Members may purchase 2 tickets at that price) and $38 for all other non-member tickets. Tickets can be purchased by going to the following link.
