Augenstein is the Technology Editor and Reporter with WTOP-FM and wtop.com – the all-news powerhouse in the Nation’s Capital. Neal started as a general assignment reporter at WTOP 18 years ago. In February 2010 he became the first major-market reporter to do all his field reporting on an iPhone. One of Neal’s earlier iPhones is part of the Newseum’s permanent collection, in recognition of his work leading the way in mobile journalism. He trains other journalists how to harness the power of the phone, and blogs about the latest ways to cover news-on-the-go at iphonereporting.com.
