Inauguration Story Tips
On Jan. 10, veteran reporters will discuss how to get good stories covering the presidential inauguration. The program is presented by the National Press Club Journalism Institute and the Professional Development Committee.

The program, which is $5 for members and $10 for non-members, starts at 9.30am on Tuesday, Jan 10 in the Murrow Room of the Club. RSVP required, using the form below.

Confirmed panelists include:
Jonathan Salant, Washington correspondent for New Jersey Advance Media, a former Press Club president who has covered every inauguration since 1989;
Kathy Kiely formerly with BillMoyers.com, a veteran of Bloomberg News, the National Journal, the Sunlight Foundation, and USA Today; and
Jason Dick, Deputy Editor at CQ Magazine has covered conventions since 2005.
John Mulligan, a senior staffer at the Senate Press Gallery and former Washington correspondent and bureau chief for the Providence Journal of Rhode Island. He covered nine Presidential Inaugurations, beginning with Jimmy Carter’s in 1977.
