NPC Book Event

Dana Perino, former White House press secretary, political commentator and author, will discuss her book, "Everything Will Be Okay:  Life Lessons for Young Women (from a Former Young Woman)," at a National Press Club Headliners virtual book event at noon on Tuesday, March 30.

This one-hour program will stream live on the Club’s website and YouTube Channel as part of the National Press Club’s Virtual Headliners series, and is accessible to both the press and general public free-of-charge. Viewers are invited to submit their questions for Perino in advance or during the live program via email to [email protected].

Perino, who founded the mentorship program “Minute Mentoring,” wrote “Everything Will Be Okay” as a field guide for young women in the workforce with guidance for everyone from newly minted grads on the job hunt to seasoned professionals hoping to make the next big leap up the corporate ladder.

Serving under President George W. Bush, Perino was just the second woman in U.S. history to be named White House Press Secretary. She first joined the Bush administration right after the 9/11 attacks as a spokesperson for the Justice Department. She currently serves as co-anchor of “America’s Newsroom with Bill Hemmer & Dana Perino” and co-host of “The Five,” both on the Fox News Channel.
