On-Camera Media Training Class for Journalists

NPC member Andrea McCarren, a veteran multimedia journalist and Emmy Award-winner, will offer an on-camera media training class for journalists on Friday, June 16 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Bloomberg room. The hands-on workshop is for journalists who want to improve his or her presentation skills on-camera or online.
Through practice interviews, you’ll learn:
- How to craft and deliver meaningful soundbites
- How to be more comfortable and confident on camera
- What to wear and what not to wear
- Tricks of the trade from McCarren's 30 years of experience in television news
A crew from our Broadcast Center will be there to film your on-camera work. After the training session, you'll be able to access your practice interviews online. The class is for journalists only and space is limited, so please sign up today.
The two-hour session costs $75 for NPC members and $150 for non-members.
