The National Press Club American Legion Post 20 honored Michael Freedman on his last day as Club president for his support of the post and wartime military service Prior to the Club's Jan. 22 General Membership Meeting in which Freedman turned over the president's gavel to Lisa Matthews, Post 20 Commander Jim Noone presented him with an American Legion Special Award plaque for "outstanding and dedicated support."
