NPC Member 2016 Election Night Watch Party
The National Press Club's Reliable Source bar and grill will offer a special menu for its Election Watch Party starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, in the Truman Lounge. Club members and their guests are invited to enjoy the combat on widescreen plasma TVs. There will be special food and beverage, featuring drinks named for presidents and their favorite cocktails, available. Wine Dinner with Hungarian Embassy
On Tuesday, September 27, 2016, the Fourth Estate Restaurant will host a six course wine dinner with the Embassy of Hungary featuring traditional Hungarian dishes and Hungarian wines. Featured items include roasted venison, perch fillet with dill mushroom sauce, appetizers such as Pogásca (savory cheese biscuits) and a traditional Hungarian dessert, Somlói (sponge cake dumplings). New Date Step back in time at a festive 1920s cocktail party, Mar. 5. Cocktail historian Philip Greene will lead you on a journey back to the 'Roaring Twenties' with cocktails from his last book at a cocktail party and dinner at the Fourth Estate restaurant on Tuesday, Mar. 5. Diners will sample retro cocktails, including The Bees Knees and The Boulevardier, from Greene's latest book, A Drinkable Feast. Reliable Source Book & Author/Roast Beef Buffet
National Press Club members and their guests are invited to attend the Annual Book & Author/Roast Beef Buffet on Tuesday, November 18 starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Reliable Source. Come and join us before and after you purchase books for friends and relatives gift for the Holidays. The price of the Roast Beef Buffet is $25 for Club members and $35 for nonmembers, plus tax and gratitude. Reservations are encouraged because this event has sold out in the past.
