NPC 20th Annual Photography Exhibit
This year's exhibit displays members' print photos and electronic images in the Club's 13th floor lobby from Aug. 30 to Sept 27, with a special opening reception on Friday, Sept. 6. The exhibit's opening reception is on Friday, Sept. 6 at 6:30 pm. This year's reception is a special event, and we're using the 20th annual exhibit to raise awareness of the Fallen Journalists Memorial supported by the National Press Club Journalism Institute. Conflict Zone, a groundbreaking combat photography exhibit, will be on view from Aug. 8 to Aug. 29 at the National Press Club. Anthony Bourdain Commemorative Dinner at The Fourth Estate Restaurant
Anthony Bourdain, who died June 8, will be sadly missed, but not easily forgotten. Bourdain launched the publication of his "Les Halles Cookbook" - named for the NYC Bistro at which he had been the Executive Chef since 1998 - in 2004 at a dinner in the Fourth Estate Restaurant at The National Press Club.
