Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., and former CIA Director John Brennan at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20 for a screening of the biographical film “Anna” with opening remarks from Sean Penn and followed by a discussion on the dangers journalists face in the 21st century. The film depicts Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya’s brave crusade as she risks her life to fight for an independent voice in Putin's Russia. Politkovskaya survived poisoning, detention and beatings, but was ultimately silenced, becoming one of more than 1,800 journalists killed so far this century.…
