The third National Press Club general membership meeting of the year will be held via webcast at noon on Friday, October 15. Registration is required for entry. Young Members Studio Theater Screening of White Pearl
All Press Club Young Members are invited to attend a screening of "White Pearl" at Studio Theater on Sunday, December 1 at 2:00pm. The play is about a leaked ad for skin-whitening cream going viral for all the wrong reasons and someone’s definitely getting fired. A twisted corporate comedy about selling whiteness and the ugliness of the beauty industry. The African American Woman, 400 Years of Perseverance
Gloria Browne-Marshall plans to present her latest book, The African American Woman, 400 Years of Perseverance at a National Press Club Book Rap on Feb. 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the Cosgrove Lounge. NPC to hold reception marking centennial of American Legion Post 20 National Press Club members, especially veterans, and spouses/guests are invited to a reception on Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of American Legion Post 20. The Photography Committee's next program is Thursday, 29 October at 2:00 p.m. ET, featuring a conversation with Michael McCoy, who calls himself "a storyteller through photography and my camera lens."
