Toast to Bill McCarren
Since the mid-'80s, Bill McCarren has been an essential part of the National Press Club, first as a Club member, then as a general manager in 2007, and then as executive director since 2010. Embassy Night Hosted by Uzbek Ambassador
On behalf of the National Press Club's International Correspondents Committee, you are cordially invited to a reception hosted by Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to the United States Furqat Sidiqov from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13. Senate Press Secretaries Mixer
Please join us for a joint National Press Club and Senate Press Secretaries Association reception Wednesday, June 28, at 6 p.m. Get a chance to mingle over drinks and small snacks with a bipartisan group of Senate communicators and journalists at this off-record event. A.I. and Photography
Artificial intelligence has gained a foothold in photography and design, with new software and services such as Adobe's Firefly, but its use is also growing in image editing. To help photographers and media pros who work with photography learn more about A.I. and its role in imaging, we will hear from Robert Pless, professor of computer science at George Washington University who works with visual computing.
