Young Member Film Series - "Hot Coffee"
On Monday, Sept. 12 at 7 pm, the National Press Club's young members committee and director Susan Saladoff will present the documentary feature film Hot Coffee. The movie, which had its broadcast premier on HBO on June 27, will begin at 7 pm and runs for 95 minutes. Saladoff will participate in a question-and-answer session following the screening. Gary Johnson, a 2012 Republican presidential candidate, will speak at a National Press Club luncheon on Friday, August 19. Johnson, who served two terms as governor of New Mexico, says he has a record of staying out of the way to allow the private sector to create jobs.
