The Events Committee is kicking off the year with its first meeting 7pm on February 20. If you have a great idea for an event, come and pitch it! We're also looking for volunteers to help be a part of a variety of events including a casino night, whiskey tastings, wine tastings, movie nights, happy hours with people from all over the city and dinners with amazing guests.

Let's thank our 110th president for a year of "good spirits" by joining him at the National Press Club for a special cocktail, whiskey tasting and spirited story-telling with Director of Sales of Wigle Whiskey from Pittsburgh, PA. You may remember that the Pittsburgh based distillery provided whiskey at Mr. Ballou's inauguration last January. The Honorable Sonny Perdue, Secretary of Agriculture, will speak at a National Press Club Headliners Luncheon on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. Mr. Perdue recently crisscrossed the country in a "Back to our Roots" tour to listen to farmers and those who live and work in rural America to gather their input in advance of Congress writing a new farm bill by next year.
