The National Press Club's archivist, Jeffrey Schlosberg, is leading a tour through our archives to share our Club's history and the history of journalism in the Washington DC area. Enjoy stories told through collections of archival materials from the National Press Club, the Washington Press Club (formerly the Women’s National Press Club), and The Gridiron Club that have been preserved throughout the Club's history beginning in 1908. 26th Annual Members' Photography Exhibit Opening Reception

Join NPC members and their guests for the official opening of the 26th annual members' photography exhibit, Wednesday, September 3 at 6 p.m. in the First Amendment Lounge. All NPC members are again invited to display their best photography, as digital images or print photos, in the main 13th floor lobby for the whole month of September. As before, Club members may submit their original photography on any subject, but this year we plan to highlight images of climate change effects and mitigation efforts. National Press Club President Emily Wilkins will recognize journalist and communicator members for outstanding service to the Club at the Vivian Awards ceremony on Wednesday, December 11 at 6:00 p.m. The presentation will take place at the National Press Club in the First Amendment Lounge and is open to those Club members who are actively involved with one of the Club's 16 teams. "The Vivians" are named after former club president Vivian Vahlberg and honor the Club's top volunteers.
