National Press Club President Emily Wilkins will recognize journalist and communicator members for outstanding service to the Club at the Vivian Awards ceremony on Wednesday, December 11 at 6:00 p.m. The presentation will take place at the National Press Club in the First Amendment Lounge and is open to those Club members who are actively involved with one of the Club's 16 teams. "The Vivians" are named after former club president Vivian Vahlberg and honor the Club's top volunteers.

Jason Rezaian, Director of Press Freedom Initiatives at The Washington Post and Chair of the Press Freedom Center Advisory Board, joins Bill McCarren, Director of the Press Freedom Center, to host a powerful panel with exiled journalists Mohammad Mosaed and Ksenia Mironova.
