The Events Committee invites you to warm up your vocal chords and start refining your greatest hits - karaoke is coming back to the club at 6 p.m. August 30, in the Truman Lounge. Press Club karaoke is perfect for all ages, including first-time performers and people who would like someone to encouragingly shout "whoo!" once or twice during their song. Choose from thousands of songs to belt either solo or with a friend (but no Nickelback, please.)

Public relations pioneer Edward Bernays was infamous for his manipulative campaign in the late 1920's to increase cigarette smoking among women. Today Truth Initiative is dedicated to making tobacco use a thing of the past and is a leader in using communications to affect behavioral change.
