Gloria Browne-Marshall plans to present her latest book, The African American Woman, 400 Years of Perseverance at a National Press Club Book Rap on Feb. 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the Cosgrove Lounge. 23rd Annual Members' Photography Exhibit Opening Reception
Join NPC members and guests for the gala official opening of the 23rd annual members photography exhibit, Wednesday, Sept. 7, 6:30 to 8:00 pm in the First Amendment Lounge. The exhibit is the Club's annual celebration of visual storytelling, with print photos and electronic images on display in the 13th floor lobby for all of September. Photo Team 2022 Holiday Party
Join National Press Club's Photography Team for its 2022 holiday party, Thursday, Dec. 8 at 12 noon in the Cosgrove Lounge. The party begins with a self-funded lunch from the Reliable Source, followed by recognition for the Photo Team's corps of intrepid volunteers who shoot Club events for the Wire, web site, and social media. The National Press Club 22nd Annual Members' Photography Exhibit Opening Reception is Thursday, September 9, at 6:00 PM in the First Amendment Lounge at the National Press Club. Photographing Elections: Documenting the 2020-2022 Election Cycles
National Press Club members can learn how photojournalist Sue Dorfman created a comprehensive visual chronicle of the 2020, 2021, and 2022 U.S. election cycles at the Photography Team's next meeting on Thursday, March 1 at 12:00 noon in the Cosgrove Lounge. The session begins with a self-funded lunch from the Reliable Source at 12:00 noon. Dorfman's talk follows at 1:00 pm, and will also be available by Zoom. International Correspondents Committee Happy Hour
Join your fellow foreign correspondents for drinks at the International Correspondents Committee happy hour! The ICC team will gather in the Cosgrove Lounge to mingle, network and discuss current events. The team will be joined by a special guest from Ukraine, who will be sharing the latest from the ground. Also a team member, Øystein Bogen, will be sharing his experiences reporting from Putin's Russia.
