The National Press Club and The Associated Press invite you to join in celebrating the life of our beloved friend and colleague Will Lester at a memorial event being held at 6 p.m., Wednesday May 15 in the Conference Rooms. The event is open to members and friends of Lester, a longtime Press Club member who served as chair of the Awards Team for many years. Lester died unexpectedly in February. The National Press Club will hold a general membership meeting for all Club members on Friday, May 31 at 5 p.m. in the Conference Rooms. There will not be a livestream, so please plan accordingly to attend in-person. Each attendee will be provided a complimentary drink ticket to be enjoyed with tasty hors d'oeuvres in the Truman Lounge immediately following the meeting.
