"Codebreaker" Film Screening and Panel Discussion
On October 4, in advance of a premiere in theatres later in the month and a national cable TV broadcast later this year, NPC members and guests are invited to a sneak preview and panel discussion of "Codebreaker", an acclaimed new 53-minute film about Alan Turing’s heroic life, tragic death and lasting legacy. The screening and panel discussion will begin at 7 p.m., preceded by a ticketed reception at 6 p.m.

News Conference: The Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (UAP) and Nuclear Weapons – Witness Testimonies
A panel of former U.S. Air Force officers will discuss their involvement in UAP incidents at nuclear missile bases and test sites during the Cold War era. Affidavits and declassified U.S. government documents that the substantiate the reality of UAP activity and nuclear weapons sites will be available. In two instances in March 1967, nuclear weapons were disabled during UAP encounters at launch control facilities. The National Press Club will hold a general membership meeting for all Club members at noon Friday, Oct. 21, in the Conference Rooms. There will not be a livestream, so please plan accordingly to attend in-person. Members will receive membership updates and Club leadership will speak on matters related to an annual dues increase.
