There has never been a more anticipated Opening Day for baseball than the 2021 season. While most ballparks are limiting their capacities for spectators, the Press Club is the next best place to watch the game with friends and colleagues. Fifty fans will have the opportunity to watch the Washington Nationals play the New York Mets on Thursday, April 1. The pregame will be projected on the big screen in our ballroom beginning at 6 p.m. followed by the first pitch at 7:09 p.m. No more than 50 guests will be allowed in the ballroom and each person will have their own space to ensure enough…

Unfortunately, baseball fans won't be heading to the ballpark this year, so the Press Club will be creating an alternative experience and the next safest option to watching the game at home. Two candidates vying to lead the 1.4 million member Teamsters union will face off in a debate at the National Press Club at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 1. The election of the new general president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters marks the beginning of a new era for the powerful union. Teamsters President James P.
