2025 Press & Politicians Spelling Bee

Relationships between politicians and the media who cover them have become increasingly intense, but on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 in the National Press Club’s historic ballroom, fun and friendly competition will prevail as lawmakers and reporters compete in the uproariously entertaining Press & Politicians Spelling Bee. The first such event was held in 1913, with newly elected President Woodrow Wilson in the audience for the inaugural showdown, which was won by members of the House and Senate. 26th Annual Members' Photography Exhibit Opening Reception

Join NPC members and their guests for the official opening of the 26th annual members' photography exhibit, Wednesday, September 3 at 6 p.m. in the First Amendment Lounge. All NPC members are again invited to display their best photography, as digital images or print photos, in the main 13th floor lobby for the whole month of September. As before, Club members may submit their original photography on any subject, but this year we plan to highlight images of climate change effects and mitigation efforts.
