Michael Midddleton, the University of Missouri System interim president, will speak at a National Press Club Speakers breakfast on Tuesday June 21. Middleton was appointed to head the University of Missouri last year following racial tension and protests on its flagship campus. He will speak about moving the university forward amid a national conversation about diversity, equity and inclusion that was sparked by the protests.
