There has never been a more anticipated Opening Day for baseball than the 2021 season. While most ballparks are limiting their capacities for spectators, the Press Club is the next best place to watch the game with friends and colleagues. Fifty fans will have the opportunity to watch the Washington Nationals play the New York Mets on Thursday, April 1. The pregame will be projected on the big screen in our ballroom beginning at 6 p.m. followed by the first pitch at 7:09 p.m. No more than 50 guests will be allowed in the ballroom and each person will have their own space to ensure enough…

Unfortunately, baseball fans won't be heading to the ballpark this year, so the Press Club will be creating an alternative experience and the next safest option to watching the game at home. Join NPC members and guests for the official opening of the 24th annual members' photography exhibit, Wednesday, Sept. 6, 6:30 to 8:00 pm in the Fourth Estate Room. The exhibit is the Club's annual celebration of visual storytelling, with print photos and electronic images on display in the 13th floor lobby for all of September.
