The Club's Freedom of the Press Committee, along with Reporters Without Borders, is hosting a screening of a new PBS documentary, Reportero by Bernardo Ruiz. The documentary looks at the risks of investigative journalism in Mexico. The film follows a veteran reporter and his colleagues at Zeta, the Tijuana-based independent newsweekly, as they ply their trade in one of the deadliest places in the world for members of the media. First Friday Taco Night is back at the National Press Club for 2018. If your New Year’s resolutions include “meet more people at the NPC,” we have the right way to kick it off.
