Presidential makeup artist, author and media coach Lillian Brown will be interviewed in a one-hour broadcast at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, in the Broadcast Operations Center on the fourth floor. Admission is free, but seating is limited. The National Press Club will hold a moment of silence in observance of the third anniversary of the murder of Saudi journalist and Washington Post Global Opinions contributing columnist Jamal Khashoggi on Friday, October 1 at 3:00 p.m. ET. Khashoggi, who was openly critical of Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in his columns for the Washington Post, was ambushed by 15 Saudi government officials inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul and killed and dismembered on October 2, 2018. The National Press Club will hold a moment of silence in observance of the fifth anniversary of the murder of Washington Post Global Opinions contributing columnist Jamal Khashoggi on Monday, October 2 at 10:00 a.m. ET.
