Update-1: Mideast observer doesn't see Israel-Hamas conflict ending soon

Israel says it plans to take over Gaza City, escalating its 22-month war with Hamas and drawing a dismissal from the militant group. Israel's intentions have renewed international calls to end the conflict and have fears for the hostages still in Gaza.

Karim Elsammak has been closely following these and other fast-breaking developments in the Gaza War and Mideast affairs, and is sharing his observations in the current episode of the National Press Club's podcast, Update-1.
