Club postpones event highlighting Rezaian's podcast

A special National Press Club event highlighting Club Member Jason Rezaian's podcast about his detention in Iran, 544 Days, has been postponed.

The panel discussion, originally to be held Dec 3, has not been rescheduled. The Club will notify registered attendees when a new date has been set.

The panel discussion will include Rezaian, a Washington Post reporter, and his mother, Mary Rezaian, who appears on the podcast and spent much time in Iran during her son's detainment. Another panelist is the editor of 544 Days, Alison MacAdam, formerly with National Public Radio, where she won a Peabody Award. Additional panelists will be added.
