The inauguration of Alison Fitzgerald Kodjak. 112th President of the National Press Club on Jan. 12, 2019. Kodjak was sworn in by Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer and during her inaugural address told a sold out ballroom audience that she wants to widen the Club’s role protecting freedom of the press to include gaining greater access to government information so people can know what their government is doing.
