Morris Dees of the Southern Poverty Law Center delivered remarks on the recent upsurge in hate crimes and extremist activities. He talked about his group's legal efforts to hold certain groups accountable for violent acts committed by their members. Following his remarks he answered questions submitted by members of the audience. Topics included the effect of the economic downturn on hate groups and international terrorism versus domestic terrorism.
