A Short History of Nearly Everything

At the National Press Club, travel writer Bill Bryson discussed his book A Short History of Nearly Everything, published by Broadway Books. The book describes the search to answer to some of the great scientific questions in a simple and enjoyable fashion. The book's organization is historical and built on humanizing anecdotes about the pioneers of physics, chemistry, geology, biology, evolution and paleontology, and cosmology.
