Washington Post humor columnist Alexandra Petri is a champion speller, as displayed by her victory in last year's Press vs. Politicians Spelling Bee.

In the latest edition of Update-1, she sits down with National Press Club Broadcast/Podcast Committee member Viola Gienger to discuss her sense of humor, her Bee championship last year and her pending return this year on Sept. 17 to defend her title.
