Peter Bradfield, founder of the Aerospace Media Dinner held annually on the eve of the biennial Paris and Farnborough Air Shows, talked to National Press Club Broadcast/Podcast Team co-vice chair Adam Konowe about this year’s event.

The event recognized journalists for aviation-related coverage, including civil and military sectors, plus business and technology, at the dinner held on June 16 at the Aéro Club de France. American Barb Zuehlke and Briton Elfan Ap Rees won lifetime achievement awards for decades of trade media service.

Bradfield also organizes the Defence Media Dinner to be held at the Club in October.

Club Broadcast/Podcast team co-vice chair Mike Hempen produces Update-1. The podcast can be heard on the Club website or on iTunes, Stitcher and TuneIn.
