TONIGHT'S Book Fair Roast Beef Sold Out, But Books Are Plentiful

The traditional Book Fair roast beef dinner in the Club's Reliable Source restaurant is sold out, indicating high interest for Tuesday night's 36th annual Book Fair & Authors night starting at 5:30 p.m.

The event promises a robust crowd of booklovers, journalists and politicos seeking the latest titles across the genres –- from cookbooks and childrens stories to history, sports, memoirs and mysteries -- and a chance to mingle with 100 of the nation’s best authors. You’re sure to find the ideal gift for a book lover of any age or interest.

The Club is partnering with Washington’s largest independent bookstore, Politics & Prose, for this year’s event.

The Book Fair is a fundraiser for the Club’s Journalism Institute, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that offers scholarships to journalism students, and research and professional development for the working press worldwide. Through our partnership with The SEED Foundation, the event will help develop the school library at the foundation’s Maryland campus.
