Taste the best of craft beer with a multi-course dinner at the Fourth Estate, Sept. 12

Experience the California micro-brewery explosion with a five-course dinner featuring the best of North Coast Brewing Company at the National Press Club's Fourth Estate Restaurant at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 12.

North Coast, founded in 1988, is among the nation's micro-brewing pioneers.

The dinner begins with an assortment of hors d'oeuvres, including barbecue pork sliders and cheese puffs served with Scrimshaw Pilsner.

The salad course is paired with Blue Star Wheat Beer. PranQster Belgian Golden Ale will be served with an exquisite ceviche.

North Coast’s ode to a blackbird, La Merle Farmhouse Ale, will accompany locally made lemon and lavender sorbet.

The main course of duck breast and plum sauce will go down easy with Brother Thelonious Abbey Ale.

Dessert is mocha crème brûlèe served with Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout.

North Coast Brewing Company is located in Fort Bragg, CA, on the Pacific Coast highway, about 170 miles northwest of San Francisco.

Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite. The dinner costs $75 for single members/$85 for non-member single, and $125 for a member couple, $135 per non-member couple. Press Club member tickets are discounted. Please be sure to sign into the NPC website to get your discount.
