Starr presents memoir, "Empathy and Eyebrows," 6:30 pm Feb. 13

Danni Starr will present her memoir, Empathy and Eyebrows: A Survivalist’s Stories on Reviving Your Spirit After Soul-Crushing Sh*tstorms, at a National Press Club Headliners Book event at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13.

Starr will be one of several authors making appearances at the Club in coming weeks, discussing topics ranging from mental health to the hidden history of The Watergate complex.

An influential media personality and mental health advocate who can be heard every morning as the co-host of The Fam in The Morning on Radio One DC’s WKYS 93.9 FM, Starr is open about her battles with postpartum depression and anxiety.

On Wednesday, Feb. 21, author Joseph Rodota shares the hidden history of the iconic Watergate complex in his book, The Watergate: Inside America’s Most Infamous Address. He will take attendees on a deep dive into the Watergate’s shadowy past and its most intriguing inhabitants.
