Learn about the new government accounting standard at the NPC Journalism Institute’s next workshop, “Tracking Corporate Welfare in Your City and State: New Rule, New Tools” on April 3 at 9.30 a.m.

The new standard, GASB Statement No. 77 on Tax Abatement Disclosures, will begin generating brand new data this spring for taxpayers. Greg LeRoy, with Good Jobs First, will share the how to read this new data and Good Job First’s resource on company-specific tax break records – a dynamic database called Subsidy Tracker.
