The new year and a new Congress have ushered in new policies for perennial challenges, continued polarization and a national yearning for leadership and transparency. Fifty years after Sen. Robert Kennedy was assassinated during his presidential campaign, he continues to inspire with messages that reached across similar gulfs during his life – and help us make sense of America’s present challenges and future prospects.
Today there is renewed interest in Kennedy’s vision for America, and the words that have proven so prescient and timeless. In this updated book, Townsend and Allen share the Senator’s ideas and words, and apply them to today’s economic conditions, budget battles, political strategies and policy questions at home and abroad.
