Baier is the host of “Special Report with Bret Baier” on the Fox News Channel. Previously, he was the Atlanta bureau chief and the White House correspondent for Fox News. He has hosted “Special Report” since 2009.

Three Days in January examines the last three days of the presidency of Dwight D. Eisenhower in January 1961, and specifically, his "farewell address" on Jan. 17, 1961. Baier casts this transitional period between the presidencies of Eisenhower and John F. Kennedy as the final mission of one of our county's most-revered leaders -- the former Supreme Commander of Allied Forces during World War II who, as president, successfully guided the country out of war in Korea, through the apocalyptic threat of nuclear war with Russia, and into one of the greatest economic booms in world history.

This event features an author discussion, audience question-and-answer session, and book signing.

Proceeds from this event benefit the non-profit affiliate of the Club, the National Press Club Journalism Institute, which offers innovative, practical training to journalists and communications professionals working in a rapidly-changing media environment.
